Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PetPages.ai websites, software, and hosted shop sites (the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. This is a launch template for US business customers and is not legal advice; have counsel review before production reliance.

1. Who may use PetPages

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You represent that you are using the Services for a legitimate pet-related business (for example grooming, boarding, daycare, retail, or mobile pet services) and that information you provide is accurate.

2. Accounts & subdomains

  • You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and for activity under your account and staff seats.
  • Site prefixes (e.g., yourshop.petpages.ai) are licensed, not sold. We may reclaim inactive, infringing, or abusive prefixes.
  • You must not impersonate another business or register prefixes solely to resell them.

3. Subscriptions, trials & billing

  • Free trials (including 7-day trials) may include feature limits and can end without further notice when the trial expires unless you purchase a paid plan.
  • Paid plans (including Pro at the then-current price) renew according to the plan you select until canceled. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated.
  • Custom or enterprise arrangements may be documented separately via email with support@petpages.ai.

4. Your content & customer data

You retain ownership of content you upload and records about your customers. You grant PetPages a worldwide license to host, process, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the Services. You are the controller of pet-parent personal data you store; you must have a lawful basis to collect it and must not use PetPages to send unlawful spam or deceptive marketing.

5. AI features

AI-assisted website copy, images, video, and marketing drafts are provided “as is.” Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or non-unique. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all published material, including claims about prices, services, and policies. Do not rely on AI output as veterinary, legal, or medical advice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law or infringe others’ rights (including IP and publicity rights).
  • Probe, overload, or disrupt the Services, or bypass captcha or rate limits.
  • Upload malware or scrape the Services without permission.
  • Use the Services to harass, discriminate, or publish adult/illegal content.
  • Resell PetPages as a white-label product without a written agreement.

7. Third-party services

The Services may integrate with maps, payments, email/SMS, AI providers, and similar tools. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those features. Outages or changes by third parties are outside our full control.

8. Intellectual property

PetPages branding, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited rights granted to use the Services, no IP rights are transferred to you.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for unpaid invoices, abuse, legal risk, or material breach. You may stop using the Services at any time; cancellation of paid plans follows the billing provider’s process. Upon termination, hosted sites may become unavailable; we may delete data after a retention window.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE specific business results (including traffic, rankings, or the “20% repeat visit” outcome target described in marketing materials).

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PETPAGES AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO PETPAGES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify PetPages against claims arising from your content, your customer data practices, your marketing messages, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which PetPages maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless a mandatory consumer or small-business protection law requires otherwise. Venue for disputes will be in competent courts in that State, except where arbitration or small-claims options are agreed in writing.

14. Changes

We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where additional consent is required by law.
